Who are we?
The Kansas Council on Economic
Education is a business/education partnership whose mission is to help
K-12 teachers in Kansas integrate economics and personal finance into their
curriculum.
We are part of the Frank W. Barton
School of Business at Wichita State University and we support six
Centers for Economic Education at the state's Regents universities.
We offer graduate credit
courses through our six Centers for Economic Education at the State's
Regents universities and dozens of non-credit workshops across the state. We
also offer customized in-service training to schools.
We are part of an affiliated
network lead by the National Council on Economic Education (NCEE). The NCEE
is the recognized leader in economic education. The NCEE's curriculum is the
very best available and is developed by educators whose careers have focused
on the belief that every student should leave school with the economic
decisions making skills they will need to lead happy, productive lives.
Please consider letting us
conduct your next in-service training. We'll show your teachers very
painless ways to integrate economics and personal finance into almost any
area of your curriculum. There is usually no charge for our services.
Please contact Jim Graham
at 316 978 5165 to talk about how we can help.
